THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BUFFALO SOLDIERS MOTORCYCLE CLUB (NABSMC)

The National Association of Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club is unlike any other motorcycle organization in the country. It was created in Greenville, South Carolina during the1999 National Bikers Round-up to consolidate the educational and charitable efforts of many African American motorcyclists from across the United States. United by a love for the sport of motorcycling and a common background of military service or uniformed civilian service, the members of this organization dedicate countless hours of their time to teaching the history of the Buffalo Soldiers to students and adults in schools, churches, orphanages, senior citizen facilities and youth organizations across America. This motorcycle club welcomes both men and women to their organization. Read More ...

Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club of CaliforniaBuffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club of California

The Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club 9th & 10th Calvary California chapter was founded in 1998. We are committed to projecting a positive image of African American men and women by always showing respect for each other, the motorcycle community and the civilian community at large.

We are very active in our communities performing at events such as the "Black History Parade" as well as donating time, money and our participation with various charitable functions and organizations such as the Toys for Watts, Homeless Outreach and the Breast Cancer Foundation.

The Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club is a tribute organization to the valor, tenacity and skill of the Ninth and Tenth Cavalry that served this country with honor in spite of all the difficult almost impossible conditions that came with being an African American soldier in this country before and well into WWII.

Not being a military organization, we are not the Ninth and Tenth Cavalry, but with God as our Commander and Chief, we are the Ninth and Tenth Calvary.

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Lionel Douglass. I am an inspirational speaker and the author of two books entitled "Something A Daughter Wants, Needs and Should Know” and “Just Because You Are a Boy, Doesn't Mean You Don't Need To Know Who You Are"”. My goal, as a speaker and author, is to inspire teenage boys and girls to develop safe, happy and trusting relationships by teaching them the importance of understand themselves first.

In addition to being an Author, I have been in the entertainment field since 1973. During that time, I played Big Bird in Sesame Street's live stage and television production for approximately 4 years; I was a personal stand In/Photo double for actor Danny Glover in over 13 films as well as all four Lethal Weapon films.
